Hanslope: St James the Great

Church End, off Market Square Hanslope Milton Keynes
01908 337936
http://www.stjameshanslope.org

The Parish Church of St James the Great is at the heart of the village community of Hanslope. St James seeks to be a focal point for worship and prayer whilst serving local people, providing pastoral care and holding community events for all ages. Since Norman times Hanslope has been united with the neighbouring parish of SS Simon & Jude, Castlethorpe.

Following the example of Jesus, our worship and faith keeps the celebration of the Eucharist at the centre of what we do. The congregation has grown significantly over the last decade or so and includes people of all ages. St James has a thriving ministry to children and young people and has a distinctive commitment to issues relating to wellbeing. In addition to local residents, St James also welcomes worshippers from nearby villages and from Milton Keynes and Northampton too.  We look forward to welcoming you.

Our Parish Priest is Fr Gary Ecclestone SSC and during his secondment to support the wider work of the church Fr Adam Burnham SSC is working fulltime in the parishes and he is ably assisted by retired colleagues Fr Robert Nokes and Fr Robin Carter SSC
